Analysis of the Isreali/Hamas/Palestine conflict - the United States of America's involvement - and solution (edited)
The question that was prudent for the United States’ executive branch to answer prior to it giving support to Netanyahu's war campaign, was: Who was he declaring war against? A terrorist group in Palestine known as Hamas? Or the nation of Palestinian people?
The essential historical facts
In order to reach an equitable peace agreement resolution between Palestine and Isreal is to define the point where the conflict originated during the 20th Century. Accordingly, that time period is around 1947 and 1948 during World War II and Nazi Germany's persecution of Jews and them fleeing from the holocaust in large migration numbers to Palestine. Muslim Palestinians living there saw the insurgency as an invasion of their State. Consequently, the present day Palestinian / Isreali conflict began with Jews seizing land in Palestine occupied by a Muslim majority to establish and expand the boundaries of an Isreali State. A document called the "Balfour Declaration" played a key role in that taking place. And another one called the "White Paper."

Whether or not Hamas committed the October 7, 2023 attack and hostage taking event that it is accused of, the fact remains it's questionable what was to be gained by it? Except an act of retaliation by a superior Isreali military force. Making it seem more likely than not the massacre of 1,200 Isreali citizens was not initiated by Hamas militants living in Palestine disguised as unarmed civilians - as alleged by Isreal's military officials - that no proof of has surfaced since the conflict began.
What provoked outrage on colleges in the United States
Clearly the citizens of the United States are in agreement with their government's executive branch giving military aid to an ally, in cases where, an ally is under an enemy's military attack. But not in agreement with supporting an ally's prolonged mass murdering unarmed civilians of its rival nation - who has no army, navy, or airforce. Which live news reporting proved Isreal's military forces were doing, using weapons to destroy residential buildings and hospitals, designed instead to destroy fortified army bases, tanks, and soldier strongholds. Pictured (right) is a grim reminder of the devestation and human suffering caused.

Consequently, that live coverage triggered the protests and takeovers that occurred in the U.S. on several college campuses. Which, otherwise, would not have occurred if there had been no United States military aid given to Netanyahu, in the absence of a clear understanding by U.S. military officials concerning who exactly he was declaring war against. Realizing, Netanyahu is none the State of Isreal leaders who (long before his time) the United States of America built an alliance with.
The peace agreement difficulty
The main difficulty there is in settling this Middle East conflict is the United States Department of Defense supporting Netanyahu's war campaign. This is true because ordinarily disputes between two parties are settled by an impartial arbitrator - which the United States is not.
The conflict peace agreement solution
At this point there is (circumstantially) no peace agreement solution for the Middle East conflict between Palestinians and Isrealis except Benjamin Netanyahu's removal from power. And him replaced by someone with respect for the Palestinian people, their land, and government rights. Willing to help them rebuild and establish an alliance with Isreal.
